WHAT IS A SHADE BAND?

A Shade Band is a very practical product that improves safety. Backed with a Lifetime Warranty, if it were ever to bubble, peel, or wrinkle it will be replaced. Beware of your aftermarket screens. Damage caused by screens is not covered.
A Shade Band is made from a special type of film that is safe to apply and to remove (if that need would ever arise) from plastic golf cart windshields. In appearance, it is very much like window tinting for a car but unlike auto tinting, it can be removed and replaced without leaving any adhesive residue or damage to the windshield.
Regular auto tint can result in permanent damage to plastic because when it has to be removed, it will be virtually impossible to remove the adhesive without damaging the plastic. Plastics have a continuous out-gassing of chemicals plus the expansion and contraction of plastic can create bubbles.
WARNING: DO NOT EVER USE REGULAR CAR OR HOME TINTING ON PLASTIC.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SHADE BAND
How to care for and clean your shade band once applied to your golf cart.

Shade Bands should be cleaned with a very mild soap and a clean microfiber cloth. Use a clean 1-quart spray bottle, fill with water and add no more than 10 drops of a liquid dish-washing soap. Shake the bottle and spray the cloth lightly. Wipe gently in a horizontal motion.
NEVER use a paper towel or an ammonia-based product to clean a Shade Band or a plastic golf cart windshield.
