SHADE BANDS FOR GOLF CARTS - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Is it safe to apply to plastic windshields?
A: Yes, there isn’t any adhesive that would ever need to be removed.
Q: How long will it last?
A: Indefinitely. The Shade Band is backed by a Lifetime Warranty
Q: Will it ever bubble?
A: No
Q; How tall is the Shade Band?
A: A Shade Band is typically 6” tall. I’m 5’ 8” and it is perfect for me. The Shade Band can be installed higher or lower depending on the person. You should not be looking through the Shade Band while driving a golf cart. You should always have a clear view of the horizon.
Q: Can regular house or car tinting be used?
A: No. Once that type of tinting goes bad, the adhesive cannot be removed without damaging the plastic windshield.
Q: Is it okay to have the Shade Band exposed to the elements when driving with the windshield down?
A: Yes, it is perfectly safe to do so. Dirt, dust, and bugs wipe right off of the Shade Band and rain will not harm it either.
Q: Can I use paper towel and Windex to clean it?
A: NO! Never use paper towel or ammonia products on your plastic windshield.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS - SHADE BAND CARE:
Shade Bands should be cleaned with a very mild soap and a clean microfiber cloth. Use a clean 1-quart spray bottle, fill with water and add no more than 10 drops of a liquid dish-washing soap. Shake the bottle and spray the cloth lightly. Wipe gently in a horizontal motion. NEVER use a paper towel or an ammonia-based product to clean a Shade Band or a plastic golf cart windshield.
PLASTIC GOLF CART WINDSHIELD CARE:
Use the same solution as used to clean a Shade Band. Always wipe gently. Avoid using glass cleaning products that contain harsh ingredients such as ammonia or paper towel because they can do damage to acrylic and polycarbonate products.
If the windshield is very dirty, use extra soap (mild dish washing soap) and a clean microfiber cloth to clean off the dirt then, clean the plastic as instructed above.
